As a Specification Technologist, you will play a key role in ensuring that all finished product specifications are accurate, compliant, and up-to-date. Youll be working closely with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and legal obligations, ensuring all data is accurate and validated for successful product launches. What You Will Be Doing: Writing, approving, and maintaining detailed product specifications, ensuring they comply with customer requirements, relevant legislation, and company policies. Collaborating with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to provide technical data and ingredient declarations. Ensuring all product specifications are supported by validated claims, such as RSPO logo approval and Vegan Society certifications. Managing product pack copies, artwork, and ensuring compliance with all legal and customer technical requirements. Presenting product specifications to customers during visits and audits, implementing corrective actions as required. Ensuring Recipe Professor is updated with all necessary analytical and nutritional data to match product specifications. What You Will Need: A food-related qualification or experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of customer specification systems and food legislation (desirable). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information clearly. Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
