You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. As Social Media Content Creator, the successful candidate will play an integral role in being responsible for developing and executing content strategies across various social media platforms. The main aim is to create engaging, creative, and high-quality digital content that increases brand awareness, engagement, and drives business goals such as conversions, donations, or other measurable outcomes. Additionally, the role involves monitoring social media trends, optimising content for performance, and fostering community engagement to support the broader objectives of the Communications Department. ACT- Promote interaction with content (e.g., likes, shares, comments, click-through rates). CONVERT - Drive measurable conversions, such as website visits, donations, registrations, or sales. ENGAGE- Build a community of loyal, engaged followers by fostering active discussions, responding to comments and encouraging user-generated content (UGC). ACTION & CONTROL - Provide weekly reports based on the RACE Framework to track performance and suggest improvements. What we’re looking for in our Social Media Content Creator : A degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Marketing, Digital Media or a related field is preferred. Certifications in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation tools are a plus (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite certifications, HubSpot) Demonstrated experience in social media management, content creation, content marketing, influencer marketing and campaign management. Proven track record of growing social media audiences, increasing engagement, and driving measurable results via content marketing e.g. conversions, sales, lead generation. Experience with developing content strategies and using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager, X Analytics, and Sprout Social. Familiarity with creating and optimising content for multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, X, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat and LinkedIn Proficiency with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social. Competency with basic design and video marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premier, Canva) for creating visuals or editing images.
