Launch Excellence Capability Partner
An expert capability partner, your role will be to work with UK commercial launch brands with the purpose of building and leading the delivery of a high-quality commercial capability plan, aligned with overarching Business Unit priorities and UK Commercial goals.
The Capability Partner will use internal and external resources to ensure the planning, delivery and embedding of high-quality capability interventions across multiple commercial roles.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Operating as a Capability Partner to the Business Unit Leads of upcoming launch brands to proactively create and deliver a capability programme ensuring interventions are in line with strategy and measurable in terms of impact
* Working closely with Health, Value & Access team & Launch/pipeline leads to effectively plan capabilities required for future launches
* Joint ownership with brand & sales leads of the capability plan to include focus on building learning journeys, creating a culture of learning and in line with 70:20:10 learning principles
* Drive excellence in core sales skills by working with existing UK Capability Partners & Capability Managers and looking to leading examples within and outside of the Pharma sector
* Accountable for building and maintaining a basic working knowledge of the therapy areas, the medicines GSK and competitors have on the market/in the pipeline to ensure continued value is added to the sales teams.
* Engagement with internal resources and third-party suppliers to deliver the best possible learning experience in line with the capability plan.
* Work closely with the UK Commercial Capability Managers and Capability Partners to ensure capability, training and learning interventions are planned and balanced across the different Business Units and can be delivered against a competitive but realistic capability plan
* Work with Capability Director, European Capability Directors, EU5 Capability leads and local leadership teams to ensure alignment of global/regional programmes, share best practice, & improve sales engagement with global enablers through change management programmes.
* Work closely with broader PS&O teams on identified PS&O big bets to help build stronger partnering of the whole PS&O team with the broader Business Units.

* Ability to quickly build relationships with key stakeholders, including at UK Leadership Team (up to SVP level) and European/Global level
* Familiarity with adult learning principles
* Experience of project and programme management, managing multiple projects concurrently
* Leadership of projects across a matrix team
* Ability to define and shape best practice through looking both internally and externally to GSK
* Proven ability to use multiple inputs to define strategy and create/deliver solutions to drive improvement in performance;
* Broad knowledge of 3rd party suppliers and when to engage with them.
