Job Description
To be responsible for commissioning and management of a range of contracts across Children’s and People’s Services, ensuring effective performance monitoring and evaluation to inform future needs. This position covers long term absence, for an initial 3 month period, 3 days per week on site in Liverpool (Cunard Building).
Main Duties
1. Responsible for the arrangement and management of a range of contracts across children and people’s services ensuring effective performance monitoring and evaluation to inform future commissioning needs.
2. Implement performance management systems to ensure optimum service delivery.
3. Contribute to Commissioning and Sufficiency Strategy and action plan to ensure services are effective and efficient, as well as within financial budgets.
4. Develop and review the QA Framework for all commissioned services.
Experience/Skills
1. Must have previous track record in commissioning in Children’s Services.
2. Must have previous experience of project management delivery, financial monitoring, and performance management.
3. Excellent reporting skills and data analysis within commissioning.
