The opportunity
We provide real estate dispute resolution legal services for a broad range of clients across various specialist areas.
The team in Birmingham currently comprises four Partners, two Senior Associates, eight Associates, two Senior Paralegals, and six Paralegals, supported by a Trainee Solicitor. The work undertaken by two of the Partners, one Senior Associate, five Associates, two Senior Paralegals, and six Paralegals is in the niche area of residential landlord and tenant legal issues and disputes. The team advises and represents a broad client base, including registered providers, letting agents, and private individuals.
As a result of an increase in instructions, particularly in defending claims where tenants allege their landlord has breached their repairing obligations and seek compensation (known as disrepair claims), the team is seeking to appoint a Paralegal to be based in the Birmingham office.
