Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home Permanent | Full-time (37.5 hours per week) We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to oversee a Children’s Residential Home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality care environment. This role requires strong leadership, safeguarding knowledge, and a commitment to promoting positive outcomes for young people. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and all relevant legislation. Develop and implement placement plans, risk assessments, and care strategies tailored to each child’s needs. Maintain financial oversight, including managing budgets and ensuring resources are used effectively. Support and develop staff through supervision, training, and performance management. Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed, promoting a culture of safety and well-being. Work collaboratively with Local Authorities, social workers, and external agencies to advocate for the children’s best interests. Oversee recruitment and ensure staffing levels are maintained. Requirements: Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Services (or equivalent). Experience in a senior or management role within children’s residential care. Knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, Safeguarding Procedures, and Ofsted Standards. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete). Full UK driving licence.
