£162.31 - £251.71 Per day
Job Duties:
The Science Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging science lessons to students. They will create a stimulating learning environment, assess student progress, and provide feedback to promote academic growth. The teacher will also collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and participate in parent-teacher meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Degree in a relevant subject - Knowledge of the national curriculum - Strong classroom management skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners - Proficiency in using technology in the classroom - Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) - Experience in teaching Science at GCSE and A-Level
Working Conditions:
The Science Teacher will work in a school environment, following the school calendar and timetable. They may be required to attend staff meetings and professional development sessions outside of regular school hours. The teacher will interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis.
