Role Overview: As a Year 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and providing additional support to students. You will help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes the academic and personal development of all children. Key Responsibilities: · Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons for Year 3 students · Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help · Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a positive learning environment · Helping with the preparation of classroom materials and resources · Supporting students with their social, emotional, and academic needs · Assisting with assessments and monitoring student progress · Collaborating with other staff to ensure high standards of teaching and learning CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location - Walsall Position - Year 3 TA Type of work - KS2 TA Start date - ASAP Duration / Likely Duration - Long term opportunity for the rest of the academic year End date (if applicable) - July 2025 Contract type - Temporary Full time/part time - Full time Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP85 per day Hours - 8:30 - 3:30 (full day) REQUIREMENTS: · Experience working with children in a school or educational setting, ideally within primary education · A passion for working with children and supporting their development · Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff · Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude · A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification · An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
