Job Role
* Prepare and serve all food to ensure a balanced, nutritious diet for all Residents as well as maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
* Work according to guidance from the Home Manager and as a team with the Registered Nurses to meet the needs and preferences of the Residents.
* Manage the performance of Kitchen staff.
Experience
We are looking for experience in some or all of the following areas:
Qualifications
* Health and safety certificate.
* Food hygiene certificate.
* NVQ level 2 or 3 in Food Preparation and Cooking.
Work Experience
* Previous experience of working in a kitchen essential.
* Working to deadlines.
Skills and Abilities
* Good verbal and written communication.
* Organising and coordinating skills.
* Can adapt well to working independently and in a team.
