We are currently looking to expand our list of Personal Care Assistants to cover Lowestoft and the surrounding areas, this is a self-employed role, support will be given, flexible hours to suit, you will be required to visit Service users in their homes to support with tasks and also assist them in accessing the community at times.
Previous experience in a support role isn’t necessary, all we ask is that:
• You have a caring, empathetic nature
• You have a conviction-free DBS (we can help you sort this, don’t worry!)
• You have the right to work in the UK and relevant paperwork
• Whilst you will be provided with all of the tools and support you could need, you understand this is a self-employed role
• You have a valid UK driving licence and access to a car
Support from a Hub Care Support PAs may include:
• Domestic Tasks - cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, changing bed linin.
• Personal Care Tasks - support with washing, dressing, bathing.
• Meal preparation tasks - prepare meals, assist to eat and drink
• Social interaction - help to maintain relationships in the home or in the community with clubs, outings,
• Medication - prompting
• Shopping - support Service Users to go shopping
• Assistance to appointments - transport and support to keep appointments
