To contribute to the delivery of the wider panning service functions through enforcement and monitoring powers to ensure that development in the Borough is undertaken to the necessary standard and required approvals including the management of specialist technical officers in the team. To ensure the team s performance meets expected standards whilst communicating and consulting with others as may be necessary to deliver a quality service. About You An experienced Enforcement Officer with wide ranging experience of enforcement and planning matters. Developed understanding and excellent technical knowledge of planning legislation including experience of complex planning appeals and prosecutions relating the planning matters. Ability to lead a multi disciplinary team with excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills. Awareness and understanding of the political dimension to planning and enforcement.
