Package Manager – FM Hard Services\nWhitehall, Westminster\n\nEmployment Type: Full-Time\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking a proactive and experienced Package Manager to help to lead the effective and safe delivery of hard FM services within a high-profile MoD building in Westminster. This role involves managing both in-house teams and specialist subcontractors, ensuring all engineering services meet statutory, mandatory, and contractual requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Oversee the health and performance of critical building systems, including analysis of subcontractor reports and routine operational checks.\n\n * Monitor site resilience and implement corrective actions where necessary.\n\n * Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring high standards from both internal staff and subcontractors.\n\n * Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory, regulatory, and safety standards.\n\n * Manage and deliver additional works and small-scale projects through both lifecycle and unplanned streams.\n\n * Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and cost savings.\n\n * Apply strong knowledge of Health & Safety and environmental procedures, maintaining Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) as required.\n\n * Act as the first responder for all contract-related incidents, including accidents, near misses, and technical failures.\n\n * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to ensure service excellence and contract satisfaction.\n\nSkills and Experience Required\n\n * Demonstrated experience within FM or building services, ideally in a critical environment.\n\n * Strong understanding of BMS systems and critical infrastructure.\n\n * IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certification.\n\n * Proven experience managing and leading a team of 2 or more direct reports.\n\n * Authorised Person (AP) qualification(s) – JSP375 desirable.\n\n * Experience managing client and subcontractor relationships.\n\n * Project management experience on small works and lifecycle projects.\n\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports
