Job Description
At Helio Display Materials, we're crafting the fundamental materials that will shape the future of displays.
Using the power of perovskites, these enabling materials facilitate the creation of displays that are not only brighter and more vibrant but also operate with remarkably low power consumption.
Our team is dedicated to pioneering the future of displays. As we accelerate, we are looking for talented individuals to join us on the next phase of our journey.
About the Role:
As part of our ongoing expansion, we are excited to expand our perovskites formulation team.
In this role, you will take a key role in the functionalisation of perovskites nanocrystals, which is an essential part of developing formulation for photoreactive/cross linkable perovskites.
Our Values:
* Knowledge
* Driven
* Unity
Location:
Based in our custom built lab and office, 10 minutes from central Oxford.
Responsibilities:
* Development of perovskites formulations for high resolution patterning.
* Utilise a broad range of analytical (internally or at suppliers site) and optical characterisation techniques to assess functionalised materials and formulations.
* Liaising with the synthetic core materials team to source and develop perovskites materials.
Experience & Attributes:
* At least 2+ years industry experience with a PhD in chemistry, material science, or related field, or at least 3+ years experience with a master's in chemistry, material science, or related field.
* Demonstrated capability to develop advanced materials formulations.
* Expert knowledge of organic ligands and surface chemistry.
* Hands-on experience with molecular characterization tools (NMR, FT-IR, GPC, HPLC, GC, etc.).
* Experience in material characterization techniques (SEM/TEM, AFM, XPS, XRD/XRR, DSC, TGA, etc.).
* Ability to generate new ideas, make a convincing case supported by data, and drive to implementation.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
* Self-motivated with critical thinking skills.
* Ability to manage own projects.
