As a key player in this innovative team, you will be responsible for championing continuous improvement of workflow and process whilst empowering team development. You will be able to ensure best practice whilst upholding the values, culture and tone of voice.
This People Team Manager (HR Manager) role offers Hybrid working.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the Head of People in the effective running of the People Team, maintaining high service levels and focusing on the highest priorities that are aligned with business objectives and culture.
2. Support the Head of People Team in delivering broader People Team projects and contributing to the implementation of the People Team strategy.
3. Collaborate and build relationships with managers to provide guidance and support on people-related matters, including absence, performance and conduct, while keeping the Head of People informed and escalating issues as needed.
4. Support the Head of People by partnering with line managers to proactively identify training needs and requirements.
5. Support the Head of People by ensuring that Onboarding and Exit processes are undertaken, and employee engagement is central to these.
6. Oversee and manage maternity process, including conducting maternity risk assessments and ensuring that all maternity-related administration is carried out efficiently, supporting People First culture.
7. Support the wider People Team to ensure that payroll files are up to date, accurate and delivered to deadline each month.
8. Maintain a strong understanding of HRIS and collaborate with the People Team and wider business to identify and implement innovative enhancements that support strategies.
9. Assist in the management and promotion of Rewards and Benefits schemes or programmes.
10. Enhance the visibility and impact of the People Team in a hybrid world, optimising workflows.
11. Provide support to the People and Recruitment Advisor and advise managers through the recruitment process to ensure alignment of values and culture.

With your CIPD level 5 qualification, excellent People Team/HR generalist (Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager level) experience you will find this role rewarding and ensure success and personal development.
