Description Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines. Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team. Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Oracle policies, procedures, products and sales cycle. Responsibilities Nordic Sales Manager Team responsibility within the Nordic team with main focus develop our Nordic emerging team, new business sales team and associated ARR quota in the Nordic emerging region. You will assist in the development and execution of short, medium, and long term, plans to achieve tactical and strategic business objectives. You will manage and develop a team of high performing Sales Representatives by utilizing the Nordic Playbook and build effective working relationships through regular interaction across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. It is important that you have the ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations in order to drive positive engagement and accountability. The development and execution of win strategies combined with effective opportunity management will ensure maximum ROTI for your team and prospects alike. In order to be successful in this role you must have the passion and energy to inspire a young sales team to continuously focus on effective prospecting in order to maximise new logo attainment and meet attainment expectations in respect of ARR. In this role you will be expected to generate monthly, quarterly forecasts (sometimes 12 months in advance) with a keen focus on linearity and predictable ARR attainment. Building a strong team culture is really important and you will be expected to conduct weekly 1-1’s, monthly sales meetings and QBR’s as necessary to ensure consistent engagement, support, and frequently communicate objectives, expectations and successes. Assist the Nordic management to further build and enhance the Nordic Playbook on quarterly bases. Previous management experience is a distinct advantage, but you will also need to demonstrate an aptitude in: Eagerness to develop and coach a sales team into successful sales individuals Extensive experience to sell into the emerging market across the Nordic region Experience selling NetSuite ERP and understanding of the competitive landscape across the Nordic region Performance management and conflict resolution Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to present to large and small audiences.
