If you answered yes to all of the above, then please read on… What’s in it for you? • Salary : £45,000 • Pension Scheme • Monday – Friday • 25 days holiday bank holidays • On-Site Parking • Benefit package (private healthcare, medical cover, paid voluntary day, cycle to work, staff discount and shopping discount platform) The roles and responsibilities of the Operations Manager: • Daily management of depot Managers ensuring relevant HR policies are followed • Work alongside depot managers to obtain depot KPIs to be reported to the CHD Manager at regular points. • Work alongside the Home Delivery training academy to build training requirements for teams • Ensure depot managers are reporting on required KPIs correctly and on time • Managing depot processes and ensuring they are being completed by the department staff in correct & timely manner. • Ensuring processes and policies are mirrored across all Home Delivery Depots • Coaching and support to all Delivery Depot managers • Payroll processing for direct reports • Management of the shunting stock network between delivery depots and resolve any network issues • Ensuring the servicing & maintenance schedules are being actioned by the fleet Administrators to minimise downtime of depot vehicles and HGV fleet • Maintaining active communications with depots and departments to encourage clear communication channels. • Recruitment for vacant roles as and when required • Actively involved in maintaining and working in line with the department budget. • Completing direct report PDC’s in full • Conduct return to work interviews and assist with disciplinary procedures where necessary. • Preparation and participation in team meetings and other meetings as required. • Regular depot manager meetings – travel will be required • To demonstrate and support a commitment to Equal Opportunities, diversity, and customer care in accordance with established good practice and guidelines. • To ensure that own personal performance and knowledge are continuously assessed for improvement. • To have up to date knowledge of H&S working directives and good practice. Report any health and safety concerns to line manager. • Will be a multi-site key holder Requirements of the Operations Manager: • Must have a full clean UK driving licence for at least 12 months • Strong advanced knowledge of all Microsoft office packages. • Have operations management experience • Ability to work to deadlines whilst prioritising workload What happens after you apply for this role?
