Production Operative
As a Production Operative, you will be a key member of the Grating and Packing facilities playing a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient production and packing of quality grated cheese.
You must also be willing to work a rotating shift pattern 6.00am - 2.00pm, 2.00pm - 10.00pm including bank holidays, as the business requires.
The Role:
1. Ensure a quality product by checking for defects
2. Operate machinery as per company Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments
3. Adjust production lines as needed to avoid downtime
4. Assist and support production teams in loading and unloading materials and products as necessary
5. Keep accurate records of production activities to comply with company and legislative requirements
6. Strictly follow the department's cleaning schedule and support other functions as deemed necessary
The Person:
1. Minimum of 12 months experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG or similar
2. Attention to detail
3. Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative
4. Competent in MS Office
5. 6 months experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
6. 6 months experience in Packing and/or High Care
