The role As Head of Operations within the IMRDS (Integrated Maintenance, Repair & Developer Services) Alliance (consisting of Anglian Water, Clancy & Kier) with Anglian Water, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of strategic and operational goals. The specific requirement is for 15 months and the primary objective will be operational leadership, ensuring we meet our performance framework and delivery programme goals & objectives. Your expertise will be put to good use, enhancing, and promoting efficient and effective working practices across the alliance. Here are some of the activities that you will get involved in… Accountability, leadership and implementation of the operational delivery programme pertaining to Repair & Maintenance activities, Enabling functions (EG: Traffic Management), Shared Services & Reinstatement activity. Deliver the assigned programme of works to ensure the IMRDS alliance meets its regulatory and customer commitments. Ensure appropriate resourcing, competency and capacity management against varying work volume demands. Evaluate and enhance existing processes to streamline workflows, boost efficiency, and reduce costs. Identify and mitigate potential risks to safeguard business continuity. Lead and manage the alliances large scale operations team to provide the most efficient delivery performance. Provide positive support, guidance, and opportunity to enable our people to maximise their contribution and develop their capabilities, whilst enjoying their work. Use innovative and entrepreneurial leadership in order to consistently seek and implement enhanced ways of working. An engineering or leadership qualification is highly desirable. You are a motivated team player who is collaborative and pragmatic in your approach to negotiation and management. You have a senior leadership and strategic mindset. You are an effective and experienced leader of teams in this field, with clear communication skills. NB This role is a 15 month contract.
