Role - SAP PI/PO Managing Consultant
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP PI/PO Managing Consultant with over 10 years of expertise in SAP Process Integration (PI) and Process Orchestration (PO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of SAP PI/PO architecture, integration tools, and best practices to deliver high-quality integration solutions in large, complex environments.
As a Senior Consultant, you will lead integration projects, provide mentorship to junior team members, and work closely with business and technical teams to drive innovation and ensure the seamless exchange of data across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and deliver complex SAP PI/PO integration solutions in enterprise environments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
2. Architect, design, and implement SAP PI/PO interfaces and integration scenarios, including custom mapping, adapters, and communication protocols.
3. Lead the design and implementation of integration workflows (iFlows) and orchestrations using SAP PO.
4. Provide end-to-end solutions for SAP integration projects including system design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment.
5. Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional consultants to understand business processes and translate them into scalable and efficient integration solutions.
6. Manage and lead a team of SAP PI/PO consultants, providing guidance, mentoring, and hands-on technical support.
7. Proactively troubleshoot, identify, and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
8. Manage the monitoring and health checks of SAP PI/PO systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and operational excellence.
9. Drive continuous improvement and optimization of integration processes, identifying opportunities for system enhancements.
10. Oversee the integration of third-party systems with SAP landscapes, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), and legacy systems.
11. Provide technical leadership in the adoption of new integration tools and methodologies, including cloud-based integrations (SAP CPI) and hybrid landscapes.
12. Ensure adherence to integration best practices, governance, and documentation standards.
13. Review and ensure that integration solutions meet security, performance, and scalability requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
1. 10+ years of experience in SAP PI/PO, with a strong background in leading integration projects in large-scale environments.
2. In-depth knowledge of SAP PI/PO architecture, integration components, and data processing flows.
3. Expertise in designing and implementing complex integration scenarios involving SOAP, REST, IDoc, JDBC, SFTP, and file-based protocols.
4. Strong experience with SAP PO, including iFlow design, business process orchestration, and exception handling.
5. Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) is highly preferred.
6. Proficiency in mapping techniques (Graphical, XSLT, Java mapping) and integration tools (SAP PI, SAP Process Orchestration).
7. Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and other SAP solutions and their integration with PI/PO.
8. Proven track record of leading integration teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and mentoring junior consultants.
9. Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills in SAP PI/PO environments, with the ability to resolve complex integration issues.
10. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders at all levels.
11. SAP PI/PO certification, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) certification, or similar certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
1. Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP TRM solutions.
2. Map business processes to SAP functionalities, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
3. Oversee integration with SAP FI-CA, BRIM, PSCD, and external tax systems.
4. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.
5. Identify opportunities for expanding SAP TRM solutions to address evolving business needs.
6. Lead and mentor a team of consultants, fostering skill development and ensuring high-quality delivery.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
8. Stay updated with the latest SAP innovations, industry trends, and best practices in TRM.
9. Contribute to the development of TRM methodologies, accelerators, and tools.
Skills & Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field with 10 to 12 years of experience in SAP TRM implementation or support projects.
2. At least four full life cycle SAP TRM implementation from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live.
3. Strong expertise in SAP modules such as FI-CA, PSCD, and integration with CRM or BRIM.
4. Proven track record of delivering SAP TRM projects in a leadership capacity.
5. Hands-on experience in configuring SAP TRM, FI-CA, PSCD, and Revenue Accounting solutions.
6. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Sector is highly desirable.
7. SAP Certification in TRM, FI-CA, or S/4HANA Public Sector.
8. Experience in tax and revenue systems for government agencies.
9. Familiarity with global tax regulations and compliance requirements.

6. Communicates project resource requirements to staffing coordinator/clients.
7. Ensures quality implementation (works with QA program).
