Key responsibilities include:
Purpose : The product manager ensures the quality of Flooding Products by aligning user needs with business goals, framing problems, and setting priorities for the delivery team.
Responsibilities :
* Maximize Value : Deliver Flooding products that align with business strategy, customer contracts, and user needs.
* Product Vision : Develop and communicate a product vision and roadmap based on stakeholder input.
* Manage Dependencies : Identify and manage development dependencies with related systems.
* GDS Standards : Apply Government Digital Service standards to ensure compliance in public digital services.
* Agile Practices : Lead the agile delivery team, translating requirements and prioritizing work to meet minimum viable product (MVP) standards.
* Data-Driven Decisions : Use data to inform design, technology, and user experience decisions.
* Financial Considerations : Assess the financial implications of features and their impact on total cost of ownership (TCO).
* Lifecycle Management : Oversee products through all lifecycle phases: discovery, alpha, beta, and live.
* Operational Balance : Prioritize delivery alongside routine operations and address operational issues effectively.
* Problem Resolution : Investigate and resolve patterns and trends in problems.
* Strategic Alignment : Ensure alignment with Digital Services objectives and key performance measures.
* User Focus : Gain in-depth knowledge of users and support research to inform product outcomes.
* Work Within Constraints : Identify and manage constraints while ensuring standards are met.
