We are looking for a Storage & Logistics Assistant to assist all departments with the storage, reclamation, and cataloguing of materials, scenic items, and props at the RSC Workshops stores. You will also assist other workshop departments when required.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, key areas of responsibility include (please see the full job description and person specification for the comprehensive list):
Movement and storage of materials, scenic items, and props:
* Organise, maintain, and catalogue items in and out of storage.
* Dismantle scenic items and reclaim materials and hardware.
* Maintain a high level of housekeeping across the stores.
* Move and prepare materials for workshops, shows, and rehearsals.
To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have the following knowledge and experience:
* Ability to use own initiative and work under pressure to deadlines.
* Pro-active and flexible approach to work.
* The ability to work as part of a team.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months, based at our scenic workshops in Stratford upon Avon.
You will be working 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although occasional weekend and evening work will be required.
