Paid Search Account Manager

Are you ready to be a changemaker in performance marketing? Do you have experience in Paid Search? If so, Summit has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join us.
As the Paid Search Account Manager, you’ll be working with one of our blue-chip clients, led by and reporting to the Account Director.
The Paid Search Account Manager will work with a wider team of managers and executives who activate paid social and search in the UK and international markets. The role will report to the account director to deliver best in class campaign strategy, overseeing execution and delivering brilliant client service. You will work with partners including Google and Bing and be exposed to social platforms should you wish to learn more.
You will caretake the search strategy and ensure it is executed and optimized such that client targets are met as efficiently as possible. Campaigns will be a mix of branding and direct response.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:
* Be responsible for campaigns’ overall activation and performance on search
* Serve as day-to-day contact for the internal planning/account teams and the client
* Manage junior team members to upskill and support their development
* Implement a test and learning plan
* Present performance reporting on a weekly and ad hoc basis
* Proactively find new and innovative ways to drive forward the strategy for each client
* Strong financial and operational management
Summiteers are asked to attend our office in the C4DI complex in Hull, Fruit Market 2 days per week, the rest of the week can be done from home. For the right candidate, we may also consider greater flexibility around office time.
About you
Drive, determination, and a self-disciplined approach are vital to be effective in this role. You will enjoy and be able to easily adapt to different personalities, being a proactive team player who is motivated and highly organised, enabling you to manage a diverse and busy workload. We are looking for a new or experienced Account Manager, to lead the strategic and tactical execution of the search campaigns.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working with data and have very strong attention to detail. They will be a team player who is keen to learn and is results-driven. They will be ready to take responsibility for the effective implementation of activity within their accounts and be eager to share their knowledge with the wider team and be an effective mentor and role model to their team.
* Agency experience desirable
* Paid Search related experience
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to effectively communicate with clients, particularly explaining technical concepts to those in non-technical roles
* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, across multiple stakeholders
* Keen attention to detail and an analytical approach to achieving objectives
* Strong communication and presentational skills

On offer is a salary of £28000-£33000 per annum depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including:
