1. Lead by example, mentoring & inspiring your team on a daily basis
2. Coach your team to achieve & develop their knowledge and skills
3. Lead from the front, providing an exceptional customer experience
4. Create strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team
5. Recruit, onboard, and induct high calibre new Team Members
6. Be responsible for stock management, ensuring stock is maintained and accurate & the team are aware of stock integrity processes
7. Be proactive in making sure you keep your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services we provide
8. Create a fun, supportive culture instore where your team loves coming to work every day
9. Pro-actively support local marketing opportunities and sponsorships
What we need…
10. Experience in a similar store leadership role or ready to take that next step up in your retail management career
11. Demonstrated success in driving sales
12. Strong leadership with ability to motivate and build a high performing team, with a positive culture
13. High degree of resilience & ability to priorities and manage conflicting priorities
14. Ability to create a positive culture of safety
15. Demonstrated ability to achieve & exceed sales targets
16. Established business acumen
17. Ability to be flexible in order to meet changing work conditions
18. High degree of interpersonal & communication skills
