Join the Public Sector and Housing team at our Manchester office as an Actuarial Analyst. In this role, you will play a key part in developing pricing models, improving data quality, and delivering valuable insights that shape strategic decisions. You will collaborate with underwriting and actuarial teams, working across property, casualty, and fleet motor lines to assess profitability, risk, and premium adequacy. We are looking for hands-on candidates with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for using both traditional actuarial methods and cutting-edge technologies.

What you will do:
* Actively contribute to enhance the team's quantitative abilities, through improving data quality and delivering value adding analyses from large datasets.
* Continuously develop analytical tools, forecasting models and reporting systems.
* Support the underwriting team in quantitative analysis.
* Perform profitability and risk assessments across property, casualty, and fleet motor.
* Evaluate premium adequacy, factoring in future claims, costs, and potential adverse selection due to premium structure.

Requirements:
* Master's Degree or equivalent in either Actuarial Science, Mathematics or similar.
* Programming skills, preferably Python, R, SQL, etc.
* Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Good written and verbal presentation skills in English.
* Graduates with a special interest in Actuarial Science are also encouraged to apply.
