Facilities Manager - New Build to Rent Scheme - Central Birmingham - £43,000 - £48,000 + Bonus
Are you a skilled Facilities Manager with experience in the Build to Rent (BTR), Student Accommodation, or Co-Living sectors? A fantastic opportunity has come up to join a brand-new BTR scheme set to open in early 2025.
We're seeking an experienced and motivated professional to lead facilities operations at this state-of-the-art development. This role is perfect for a hands-on Facilities Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering an exceptional living experience for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Operational/Compliance:
1. Ensure maintenance tasks are executed in line with the Maintenance Response Matrix.
2. Oversee full site compliance and health & safety protocols.
3. Coordinate suppliers and contractors to maintain seamless operations.
4. Collaborate with Leasing and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth move-ins and move-outs.
5. Develop and manage rotas for Housekeeping and Maintenance departments.
6. Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring all necessary RAMS and Permits to Work are documented and accurate.
7. Conduct annual PAT testing, emergency lighting inspections, and weekly fire alarm testing.
