If you have a genuine desire to help others and want to make a real difference in people’s lives, then a Live-In Care Assistant role with us might just be the perfect fit for you!
We are looking for compassionate, empathetic individuals who are ready to step into a career that is as rewarding as it is impactful. As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will not only be helping people with daily tasks, but you’ll be changing lives by offering support, companionship and the comfort and independence of being able to remain at home.
Why choose a Live-In Care Assistant role with us?
Supportive environment: From day one, you will be part of a compassionate team that is dedicated to helping you thrive in your role and grow in your career.
Competitive pay: from £800 per week
Referral bonus: Share the opportunity with a friend, and you will both earn £150 when they join our team (paid after 12 weeks of employment).
Free PPE: We provide all the protective equipment you need to stay safe and comfortable while giving the best care possible.
Comprehensive training: No prior experience? No problem! You will receive full training, including a 5-day paid induction programme to help you feel confident and prepared for your role (payment made at National minimum wage once you have worked with us 100 hours).
What you will do as a full-time Live-in Care Assistant:
As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will be at the heart of each client’s daily life, providing support, comfort, and encouragement. You will be trusted with some of life’s most intimate and meaningful tasks, such as:
Companionship & emotional support: Offering a friendly ear, laughter, and a sense of belonging to clients who may feel lonely or isolated. Your positive presence will brighten their day.
Personal care: Helping clients with essential daily routines like bathing, dressing, and continence care to ensure they feel dignified and cared for.
Medication support: Assisting with medication and ensuring clients stay on track with their health needs.
Meal preparation: Creating and preparing nutritious, flavourful meals tailored to each client’s personal and cultural preferences.
Light domestic support: Helping with household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing, making sure your clients’ home remain safe and comfortable.
You may be traveling with your client/s, so a Full UK / International Driving License, your own car, and business car insurance are preferable but not essential.
Mileage rates for drivers using their own vehicle and travel expenses will be confirmed with each placement.
Why you will love working with us:
A Family-oriented culture: Our managers are approachable, and you will always have support from a team that feels more like a family. We are in this together, and we always look out for each other.
Making a real impact: Your work will change lives. You will have the privilege of supporting people who need it most, helping them lead independent and fulfilling lives in their own home.
A career with heart: At New Directions, we care about our team just as much as we care about the people we support. You will feel valued, respected, and part of a community that believes in kindness and compassion.
Opportunities to grow: We invest in you! We offer continuous training, career progression opportunities, and support to help you develop your skills and advance in your career.
