A&T: UK OCCUPIER ACCOUNTS - LONDON
Finance Business Partner
Role Purpose
To provide comprehensive financial support to the UK Occupier Account teams (OA) with a focus on supporting two of our Industry Sectors. Working within the UK Advisory and Transaction (A&T) business, the role will be integral to ensuring sound financial management and providing deep financial insights.
The role involves interacting with multiple internal stakeholders in London and across Europe whilst reporting into the OA Snr Finance Business Partner with a dotted line into the OA COO and Head of A&T Finance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive sound financial management and insights into the OA business via their management accounts.
2. Steer engagement with the OA Business Leads and Analysts to assess and challenge: Client Account/Industry Vertical performance, headcount positions, client wins/losses, revenue pipelines, debt levels, risks & opportunities, Shared Service Centre costs etc.
3. Prepare financial summaries/report packs and commentary that can be used with confidence in decision making with the business and wider Finance.
4. Respond to the business financial queries and close out issues in a timely manner.
5. Oversee the monthly close and ensure adherence to policies and procedures: Revenue Recognition, Balance sheet reconciliations etc.
6. Drive financial planning and support business strategic objectives.
7. Oversee monthly revenue and quarterly P&L forecasting, proactively identifying areas for Executive attention.
8. Support annual Strategic Objective setting and long term Business Planning.
9. Stress test and sign off new client RFPs and Renewal pricing models.
10. Ensure application of contract commercials and annual indexations etc.
11. Support new client transitions and set up.
12. Ensure completeness of revenue planning (in Salesforce) for contracted models and assess weighted/unweighted pipelines regularly.
13. Direct a small team of Analysts in Warsaw.
14. Drive process efficiencies between the team and seek out best practice.
15. Active member of the wider Finance community, supporting ad hoc requests and initiatives.
Person Specification/Requirements
1. Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CA).
2. Significant post qualification experience.
3. Previous experience of a real estate Brokerage or Facilities Management business.
4. Confidence in building pricing and forecasting models and ad-hoc data analysis projects.
5. A self-starter and a drive for continuous/incremental process improvement.
6. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
