The overall purpose of the job is to work as part of a team and be committed to take part in providing the best quality catering service to patients and staff within the Trust.
To share learned best practise with others in developing catering services as changes are made over time to allow the department and individuals to react to changing need.
Main duties of the job
Department working hours are predominantly between to which will involve some weekend work and various shift patterns including early and late shifts as the service requires. The pay rate will increase for all hours worked on a Saturday and Sunday and Bank Holidays.
You must have good communication skills, as you will be working within the kitchen. Candidates must be able to demonstrate ability to work flexibly and on own initiative.
You will hold a current level food hygiene certificate, or be willing to work towards this qualification. Catering experience is essential for this post.
The ability to speak Welsh is not desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
