Job summary CHCP have an exiting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced podiatrist to come and join our existing established podiatry service. We are looking for an individual who are wishing to progress their career and clinical skills and who has the skills and attributes required to work autonomously at band 6 level. CHCP were one of the first tranche sites to introduce the National Wound care Strategy Programme and have developed direct referral pathways to specialist services. Main duties of the job We require innovative clinicians who have excellent communication skills, resilience and a passion to drive change within the podiatry profession. The role involves treatment of high risk patients, diabetic and non-diabetic foot ulcers, complex home visits, MSK podiatry intervention. There will also be a requirement to deliver preventative advice and guidance to patients and supervise other staff members and students. Individuals will be supported with their continuous professional development, with peer support and supervision and have opportunities to develop their leadership skills and participate in audit and research.
