A top performing Foundation Trust and teaching hospital, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Surgery Research Department.
The successful candidate will be expected to register for a higher degree with the University of Nottingham. Duties will also include participation in the StR level on call rota and some commitments to teaching of clinical medical students from the University of Nottingham.
Post to commence in February 2025.
The post holder will be involved as part of the research group investigating various hypotheses as part of the ongoing clinical research in the department. It is required that the post holder will register for a higher degree with the University of Nottingham. You will also be expected to provide teaching and participate in the general surgery emergency rota
The successful post holder will have MBBS or equivalent qualification, be GMC registered at the time of application and be able to reside and work in the UK. You should be competent in conducting operative procedures at ST3 level and above and ideally be able to demonstrate previously involvement in teaching, presentations and publications.
