Early Years and Childcare Development Officer (Business Support)
This is an exciting time to be joining the Early Years Sufficiency and Access Team. This role will play an integral part in the team's delivery of the expanded early years and childcare entitlements that will be fully implemented from September 2025. The post will require someone who is confident in delivering business advice and challenge to new and existing early years and childcare providers.

The successful applicant will be well organised, a good communicator and able to understand and articulate the essentials for running a sustainable early years/childcare provision. Candidates must possess a solid grasp of both voluntary and business structures. They should be knowledgeable about employer responsibilities and able to direct providers to appropriate sources of expert advice. Applicants must possess the skills needed to audit grant funded projects and be confident when asking for evidence to support the delivery of developments.

The Early Years Sufficiency and Access Team works with early years and childcare providers to deliver sufficient, sustainable childcare for families across Oxfordshire.
