Immediate Start: Purchase Ledger Clerk – Temp Role (Basildon, Essex) Construction contractor | Xero software | £150 per day We are recruiting for a purchase ledger clerk to join a well-established construction contractor based in Basildon, Essex. This is an office-based temporary role, starting Monday 14th April, initially for a short-term period. Details: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Circa £150 per day (depending on experience) Office-based in Basildon Immediate start – Monday 14th April Responsibilities: Inputting and processing purchase invoices into Xero accounting software Keeping accurate records of supplier transactions Supporting the finance team with general ledger duties Requirements: Experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role Familiarity with Xero (or similar software) Strong attention to detail and confident data entry skills Must be available for an immediate start and happy with office-based work This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and fast-paced team, with the potential for ongoing work.
