Key Responsibilities Perform routine and reactive maintenance on Solar PV systems, battery storage solutions, and EV charging points to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency. Diagnose and resolve system faults, minimisingdowntime, and perform preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of installations. Ensure compliance with18th Edition Wiring Regulationsand certify work toBS 7671 standardsthrough thorough inspections and testing. Adhere to health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments to protect both residents and the workforce. Coordinate property access with Council teams, provide tenants with guidance on system usage, and support upgrades or new installations as required. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and replacements, preparing performance reports and managing spare parts inventory. What Were Looking For Essential Qualifications and Skills: Fully qualified Electrician withNVQ Level 3(or equivalent). Experience in domestic electrical maintenance. Certification inInitial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations. Familiarity with18th Edition Wiring Regulationsand ability to certify work. CSCS Card(or equivalent). Full, clean UK Driving Licence. Desirable Experience (Training Available): Knowledge of solar PV systems, battery storage, and EV charging points.
