Are you looking for a change, but worried you will become 'de-skilled' in a Community Hospital?
Think again!
Here at Wokingham, we have two inpatient wards, caring for adults with a wide variety of sub-acute medical and post-surgical conditions. Our patient cohort is referred from both acute and community settings. Without immediate access to acute investigations, we use multiple 'Point of Care Testing' systems to support the care of our patients.
Our diverse range of staff are skilled in appropriate management of patients, supporting them to remain in the community setting, whilst also escalating as appropriate to ensure their safety. We are looking for an experienced nurse to join our growing team to provide this continued level of care to our patients.
We are looking for experienced band 6 nurses to support and lead our staff and patients alike. BHFT actively encourages the development of our staff, and as a result, our team of RNs have the opportunity to follow the career path suitable to them - this can be developing autonomous nursing skills, management skills, or supporting you to be the best Registered Nurse you can be. So, if you are currently working as or believe you have the skills for a band 6 lead nurse, then please apply.
The unit is based in Wokingham close to shops and public transport for easy commuting, and Wokingham Community Hospital. Free staff parking on our Hospital site.
