Embedded in a collaborative partnership between UWE Bristol, the University of Bath, and Futures West, the Centre will serve as a vital hub for economic analysis and policy innovation. Your work will involve leveraging advanced data analysis tools, working in trusted research environments, to generate real-time and long-term insights on critical regional challenges, including productivity, innovation, wellbeing and sustainable development.

About you
We are looking for dynamic researchers with a passion for applying innovative methodologies to tackle complex economic issues. You will hold (or be close to completing) a PhD in a relevant discipline and possess advanced expertise in one or more areas such as quantitative methods, spatial analysis, labour market dynamics, innovation, wellbeing, sustainability and input-output modelling.
You thrive in collaborative environments and have the communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences. Proficiency in managing research projects and working with secure data environments is essential. Additionally, your ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals and secure research funding will distinguish you.
