The Trust is seeking a self-motivated and committed Librarian and Reading Intervention Tutor to join the team at The Bluecoat Beechdale Academy. We are searching for an enthusiastic, highly organised and flexible person to join our team.
As a valued member of the English and Literacy teams, the post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the library, including the development, management and organisation of the Library facilities to ensure high quality provision of resources to staff and students, leading small group reading intervention sessions for students with weak reading skills and supporting English teachers in leading library lessons. Previous experience of working with young people in an educational setting and experience of working in a library is desirable.
The successful candidate will be committed to the students and academy life and will possess the ability to communicate effectively and be able to raise the standards of learning for all of the students with whom they are required to work.
