Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Maths teacher on behalf of one of our partner secondary schools for a long-term, full-time placement until the end of the academic year 2025.
The school is a mixed 11-18 comprehensive school with a sixth form, offering excellent standards of academic, vocational and sporting attainment. The school holds both staff and pupil wellbeing as a daily priority leading to success in a variety of areas.
Essentials
1. Recognised Teaching Qualification [PGCE] (Newly Qualified Teachers encouraged to apply)
2. Degree in relevant field
3. Registration with the EWC
4. Enhanced DBS & registration with the Update Service (support can be provided for this)
5. A range of classroom management strategies to engage classes of mixed abilities
Desirables
1. Experience teaching WJEC GCSE Mathematics curriculum
2. Experience of teaching to pupils with a range of ALN/SEN
3. A second subject to offer the school

2. Passion for Maths and Numeracy
3. Desire to enhance the educational experience of pupils from a range of socio-economic backgrounds
4. Remains calm under pressure and positive in challenging situations
