Here’s your opportunity Join Wiltshire Library service as a Relief Mobile Library Manager and make a real difference by bringing the joy of reading to communities across Wiltshire. As a Relief Mobile Library Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering the mobile library service across the county. You will ensure the mobile library vehicle arrives on time at designated stops, assisting customers with borrowing books, using the computerised library system, and managing enquiries. You will keep the mobile library well organised and deliver a high quality service. This is a zero-hours, flexible contract, perfect for someone who can step in to cover staff absences, including on Saturdays. Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with both children and adults. You’ll need excellent ICT, administrative, and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work independently. A clean driving license held for at least 5 years is required, with the ability to drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle or a willingness to learn. We can provide full training for obtaining your Driver’s Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). You will need to have a C1 category driving licence and a digital tachograph card for this role.
