accelerate agency specialises in SaaS SEO fueled by a combination of human expertise, data analysis, and automation.
Our skills lie in the strategic use of content, SEO, large-scale outreach and link building to get our clients organic results that match paid performance channels.
We’re about finding the leanest, most efficient and effective routes to get there. Forget the old agency adage of ‘pulling a late one’ - we’re all about working smarter, not harder while respecting our colleagues’ work life balance.
Job Description
This is a Remote/Hybrid role.
About You
As an SEO Manager, you will be client-facing when required, but as you’ll be working with the client manager, you won’t need to do any account management. Instead, you’ll be the subject matter expert in the room, brought on to talk through what’s needed to deliver results.
You’ll also need to pick up some hands-on technical SEO work, that might include anything from a site health check to a domain migration, but you’ll have execs to support with this work. This also means you’ll be able to train other SEO’s and help improve our processes.
Responsibilities of the Role Include:
1. Working with clients and the Head of SEO to define KPIs in order to create the correct SEO strategy to achieve the defined KPIs.
2. Developing complete strategies for our SaaS clients that incorporate on-page SEO, content production, technical SEO, and link building.
3. Delegating work to our internal stakeholders, whether they be content writers, outreach, technical, or SEO executives to ensure all resources are working in line with your strategy and delivering results.
4. In-depth keyword research and keyword analysis.
5. In-depth SERP analysis.
6. Defining the correct content approaches for our clients, identifying what keywords we should rank them for to deliver results, what type of content we need to create to rank, and how we are going to get that content to rank.
7. Assisting with creating client reports and providing insights (our preference is Data Studio, but we’re open to other solutions).
8. Training new strategists and identifying knowledge or skill gaps and proposing how we fill those gaps.
9. Forecasting and projecting what work is needed, working with the project manager to understand what resources are needed now and for new clients we hope to take on.
10. Working with the Head of SEO on improving our current processes and defining new ones we don’t yet have.
11. Collaborating with the client manager on client retention and upselling presentations.
12. Participating in pitches if needed to help onboard prospective clients.
13. Being seen as an authority within the team regarding SEO, and someone that can push their team forward with the right support.
Requirements
