My client is seeking a qualified electrician/maintenance engineer who is looking for a new challenge. This position is based on a large critical site in Slough. This is a Monday - Friday based role with overtime available.

Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of data centre equipment and systems.
* Perform preventive maintenance tasks and respond to emergency issues promptly.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
* Monitor and maintain data centre security, including access control systems.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and improve operational processes.
* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and service reports.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in building maintenance, ideally in a critical environment such as a data centre.
* Solid knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and fire suppression.
* Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues with electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
* Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, TIA-942, Uptime Institute Tier Standards).
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Flexibility to work continental shifts, including days and nights.
