Warehouse Supervisor Waltham Cross Salary: £32,000 £35,000 pa Sunday to Thursday, 40 hours per week. Core Hours: 10am 7pm. Due to the continued growth of our meat business, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Supervisor. You will lead and inspire a dedicated team in our fast-paced Operation, ensuring fresh food orders are processed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards for our Food Service clients. As a Warehouse Supervisor in our well-established family-run business, youll drive performance, streamline processes, and create a positive, high-energy workplace. With a strong focus on client satisfaction, youll play a key role in delivering exceptional service. Accountabilities: Team Leadership & Supervision Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations. Order Fulfilment & Accuracy Ensure all client orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time to meet. Stock Management & Control Maintain optimal stock levels, oversee inventory accuracy, and conduct daily stock checks. Compliance & Food Safety Ensure all operations comply with food safety regulations (HACCP, BRC, etc.). Operational Efficiency & Continuous Improvement Identify and implement process improvements. Staff Training & Development Train, mentor, and support warehouse staff. Equipment & Facility Maintenance Ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained and operational. Communication & Coordination Work closely with our sister operation in Rugby, despatch warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams. Shift & Resource Planning Manage workforce scheduling and allocate resources effectively. Performance Monitoring & Reporting Track key warehouse performance metrics (KPIs), analyse trends, and report to senior management with recommendations for improvement. To be successful in your application, we are looking for applicants who can demonstrate: Significant experience within a supervisory role within pick and pack, logistics, or fresh food operations. Excellent organisational skills and management of results. Experienced in coaching & developing outstanding warehouse teams. Possess a professional manner and have excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines. What will you offer me?
