Key Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering individualized lessons to meet the needs of students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
* Providing flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring services
* Working collaboratively with the student, their family, and other professionals to develop and implement a personalized support plan
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and reporting to relevant stakeholders
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A professional Teaching Qualification (e.g. Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
* Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
