About the Role
Main responsibilities:
* At first you will work primarily on corporation tax reviews, completion of CT61 returns and P11D benefit calculations.
* You will support the corporate tax manager in respect of tax enquiries.
* There will be a significant element of accounts preparation particularly in respect of the enquiry work when you first start but this will reduce over time.
* As you develop you will support the corporate tax manager in areas such as group restructures, buy back of own shares, mergers and demergers, hive up and hive downs, MBOs, share option schemes, EIS/SEIS applications and much more. As a Xeinadin firm we have a lot of technical corporate tax advisory work, and this is increasing year on year.
* You will support our business development particularly in our niche areas which include property investment and development and the tech business sector (SaaS and eCommerce).
Our aim will be to build a strong tax team specialising in our niche markets and services businesses which are looking to grow with turnovers of between £500K to £50m.

The job is full-time or minimum 4 days part time. Remuneration package is based on experience but will be market rate with a great benefit package.
Hybrid working is available with a minimum of 3 days expected in the office per week.

What We Are Looking For?
Basic Qualifications:
* We are currently looking for a recently qualified chartered accountant or a part qualified with a minimum of 3 years practice experience working in an accounts department (ie who already understands how to prepare company accounts and basic corporation tax computations) who wishes to now specialise in corporate tax.
* You will be an individual with ambition, a strong academic background and who has a genuine interest in tax.
* You will also want to be involved in helping grow the practice and ideally be interested in business development. You will be based in one of the offices but will be expected to move between both as required.
