We are looking for a dynamic, committed, and thorough individual with a strong technical sales background to join the MacArtney UK team to develop our business across all sectors. The ideal candidate would preferably have experience in the subsea industry and/or cables and connectors, and/or expertise in the disciplines of Oceanography, Marine Science, Hydrography, or other related areas.
Reporting to the head of Sales, your primary responsibilities include:
* Promotion of our entire product portfolio to offshore oil and gas, ocean science, renewable energy, defence applications & clients.
* Work closely with the Head of Sales sharing dialogue with regards to all sales/business development activity.
* Develop and sustain a strong pipeline and ultimately grow the client base by identifying new opportunities and potential clients through research, intelligence gathering, field-based activity and following up of leads and referrals.
* Close interaction with colleagues in our sales, technical, and project management departments both in the UK and Denmark.
* Building and forging close relations with customers.
* Travel both within the UK and Ireland on a regular basis.
* Attend Trade Exhibitions to represent the Company when and if required.
* Competitor analysis to provide product and market feedback.
* This is a Field Sales opportunity.
Professional requirements
* Strong technical and/or commercial background preferred.
* Extensive sales experience, ideally in the marine technology marketplace.
* Solid IT skills, MS office, Business Central an advantage but not essential.
* Strong focus on results, deadlines, and customer satisfaction.
* Dedicated, outgoing, flexible and a good team player.

* Three monthly sales forecast and strategy plan.
* Weekly Sales Report.
