Role Overview:
Support the development and execution of manufacturing engineering practices within a specialized environment, offering exposure to a variety of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement efficient production systems, processes, equipment, and facilities.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to solve technical challenges.
Develop methods, tooling, and processes for manufacturing.
Create and update manufacturing routings and Bill of Materials (BOMs) in the MRP system.
Use 3D design software for tooling and assembly aids (training provided).
Assist in new product introduction and prototyping.
Provide technical support for production teams during changes.Qualifications & Experience:
HND or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
2+ years in an engineering environment.
Understanding of manufacturing tolerances for assembly and machining.
Experience with MRP systems, process mapping, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with metal treatments, unconventional machining, or welding techniques is a plus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D or 3D design
