Quality and Evidence Support Officer
Hours: 37 hours per week
Fixed term contract or secondment until 31.03.26

We're looking for a skilled Performance & Data Analyst to join our team, working under the guidance of our Senior Analyst, Solihull Observatory. You will be responsible for planning and undertaking a range of performance and data analysis tasks, supporting evidence-led decision-making and providing vital insights into our investments and their impact.
Responsibilities:
* Analyse various types of data and information and produce insight and analysis reports using a variety of tools including Word, graphics, Excel, mapping, charts, PowerPoint and others.
* Gather, analyse and compare benchmarking and trend information to inform strategy and decision making in relation to the North Solihull strategy.
* Support the development of the use of information reporting systems including GIS and Power BI.
* Draft reports and documents showing key issues impacting on the Solihull population and individual neighbourhoods.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal colleagues, including Heads of Service and external partners.
Qualifications:
* A level 3 qualification (e.g. A-levels, OND, NVQ3 etc) or relevant experience and knowledge in a business or local government environment that enables you to carry out the full range of duties.
* Experience and knowledge of performance or quality assurance.
* Experience of using both qualitative and quantitative data in research, analysis and interpretation.
* Experience of working with minimal supervision to forward plan, prioritise and deliver tasks to specific deadlines.
* Good communication skills with the ability to exchange information clearly and sensitively, both verbally and in writing.
* Good ICT skills and ability to use a range of Microsoft Software, including Word, Excel and databases.
