If this sounds like you, Expleo has an exciting opportunity! We are looking for a Calibration Technician to join our client's Automotive R&D Test Team. Your role will involve the management of instrumentation used for test and development of prototype vehicles.
The Calibration Technician responsibilities include:
* Ensuring that the daily workload of the laboratory is performed efficiently and effectively.
* Facilitating external (supplier) accredited calibrations.
* Conducting traceable (in-house) calibrations, working towards UKAS accreditation / ISO17025 quality systems.
* Supporting instrument fault diagnosis and some minor repairs.
* Liaising with internal customers advising them on instrument use / repair / replacements.
Background and skills required for the Calibration Technician position:
* Ideally minimum BTEC level qualified in a Mechanical / Electrical Engineering discipline.
* Proficient in MS Excel data management and production of graphs.
* Experience of working in a calibration laboratory to ISO 9001 or ISO17025.
* Methodical with a practical ability including diagnostic skills.
Flexibility to travel, and a valid driving license are required for this role.
