We're looking for a driven Ecologist to join their team and contribute to exciting developments.

You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team of experts who work collaboratively across planning and environmental teams to drive projects forward in a way that benefits both nature and the built environment.
The Role:
As an Ecologist, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects from conception through to completion. You will conduct ecological assessments, provide advice on mitigation and enhancement, and work closely with planners and other environmental specialists to ensure that biodiversity is at the heart of project planning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Phase 1 habitat surveys, protected species surveys, and ecological assessments.
2. Provide ecological input into Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
3. Prepare and deliver ecological reports and mitigation strategies.
4. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
5. Support in obtaining relevant environmental permits and licences.
6. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on a variety of renewable projects.
What We're Looking For:
1. A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
2. Experience in undertaking ecological surveys and assessments.
3. Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy.
4. A passion for sustainability and renewable energy.
5. Full UK driving licence (essential).
6. Membership of CIEEM (desirable).
