Poundstretcher is actively recruiting for a HR administrator to work with a small, busy HR team. You will contribute to the development of an effective HR function by providing a top-level administration service, ensuring that all aspects of HR administration are carried out in an efficient and professional manner.
This is a varied role where you will be able to gain or increase experience dealing with all HR-related functions.
A HR Qualification would be desirable and would be a benefit but is not a must for the right candidate.
Main Responsibilities
* Producing contracts of employment and offer letters
* Ensuring the correct paperwork is completed for security clearance for new store management
* Taking up & providing employment references
* Administration for the management of sickness and absence
* Updating vacancies on the Intranet & Internet
* Any other ad-hoc HR projects/administration including absence, disciplinary, Long Term Sick letters
* Set up and maintain personnel files for all new Store Management starters
* Raise authorisation forms for new starters, salary increases etc.
* Filing and archiving
* Dealing with queries over the telephone from stores
* Any ad-hoc duties as and when required
