Role responsibilities:
* The day to day running of the nursery
* Ensuring Ofsted Statutory requirements are met.
* Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are met at all times.
* Assist in recruitment of staff
* Support the development of existing and new staff within the setting.
* Showing around prospective parents will be a vital aspect of your role
* Being passionate and enthusiastic about the setting.
* Managing and monitoring the occupancy of the setting using marketing techniques to promote the setting.
* Effectively managing budgets.
* Design and implement an effective curriculum and support, coach and mentor the team in the delivery.
* Ensure policies and procedures and company expectations are embedded within the nursery
* Support the nursery with growth and ensure occupancy is a focus.
Requirements:
* Minimum level 3 qualification in child care
* At least 2 years experience in nursery management.
* Able to demonstrate competence in meeting the developmental and emotional needs of the children
* Hands on approach in the day to day childcare and willingness to lead by example
* Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills which meet and exceeds the expectations of the parents and the company.
* Can work on own initiative by being self-motivated.
* Ability to work within a wider team
* Knowledge in health and safety and safer food better business guidelines
* Able to time manage self and team.
* Have strong I.T skills and able to use or willingness to use multiple computerised systems.
* Strong skills in literacy and numeracy
